Jingle Bell 5k Run/Walk- volunteers needed

There is a need for medical volunteers at the Jingle Bell 5k Run/Walk, a fundraiser for the Arthritis Foundation.

Date: Saturday December 6, 2014

Location: Gateway Mall

Event: 5k run/walk, 1k children run/walk

Elf Village with Santa, face painting, crafts and games.

Need: Medical volunteers at the starting line.

From the chairman of the race:

"My daughter first started limping at 22 months and after a couple of months of thinking it was a sprained ankle we did more tests and found out it was arthritis. She is now 9 years old and is doing good. She continues with her weekly medicine of methotrexate along with steroids when needed. She has even been in a few times to have the steroids injected into her joints. We are so grateful for all the medical help we have received at Primary Children's. The staff has always made it a positive experience for our family.
