United Way Sub Santa Community Service

Hi everyone! 

This Christmas, we were thinking of sponsoring a family with children through the United Way program "Sub Santa". Before we commit, we would like to know if people are willing to participate and get involved in the community. If we decided to sponsor a family, we would receive the names and ages of the children within the family and be expected to get 2-3 new clothing items, 2-3 new toys, and 3-5 new books per child. The number of people interested in helping would determine the size of family we could help. The plan would be to have those of you who wish to participate each get one of the items, then we can plan a time to meet up, wrap the gifts and deliver them ourselves.  Even if you couldn't participate in the gift wrapping/delivery, we'd love if you could help by donating an item! That's what I love so much about this program-- we are directly involved with the family.
