Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

This is a traditional outpatient primary care medicine practice supporting patients from the Taylorsville / Salt Lake City area: 

• Outpatient family medicine: 14-16 patients/day, on average
• Ability to focus on the adult population 
• Collegial group of primary care clinicians
• Work life balance with flexible shifts - Full time is typically a 5-day work week
• No inpatient responsibility, no call
• Incredible location in Taylorsville, with a stunning scenic backdrop provided by the Wasatch Mountains to the east and Oquirrh Mountains to the west, with countless options for exploring the outdoors year-round
• Taylorsville is within 25 miles of downtown Salt Lake City and several world class ski resorts

Required Qualifications:

• Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantUtah license, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Current DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date
• At least 3 years of experience in the outpatient setting, preferably in primary care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HEDIS scores, Star Ratings, and risk adjustment
• Experience with Value Based Care

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $166,500 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
