Walking E Family Practice (in Twin Falls, Idaho) is seeking to add on a full-time APP.

Those local to Southern Idaho know that Twin Falls is a thriving community with a small city feel and a ton of outdoor access. Walking E is elated to serve our community with intentional medical care and we are looking for a phenomenal APP to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment and Evaluation:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient health status, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests.
• Formulate differential diagnoses based on assessment findings and diagnostic data.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other team members.
• Treatment and Management:
• Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of practice and in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform procedures and interventions as necessary, ensuring patient safety and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Patient Education:
• Educate patients and families about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Provide counseling on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and disease management strategies.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Communicate pertinent patient information, treatment plans, and updates to the healthcare team in a timely manner.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case conferences to discuss complex cases and develop coordinated care plans.
• Documentation and Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies regarding documentation and record keeping.
• Quality Improvement and Research:
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care outcomes and safety.
• Stay current with evidence-based practice guidelines and contribute to research efforts within the healthcare organization.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (e.g., Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Physician Assistant Studies) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or other applicable advanced practice role in Idaho.
• Clinical experience in family practice preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Working Conditions:

• This is a 4 day work week position in a fast paced family practice clinic.

Salary: $122,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
